Gypsum? As in the mineral?

Sorry, I work with rocks a lot (not by choice XD), and I've gotten intrigued by any sort of rock or crystal.

Anyway, I'm done rambling. This is a spectacular piece; I love how you've carved the neck and shoulders to look proper from either side. This is a fantastic sculpture!

ej jak ty te takie nitki zrobilas?
tez swojego czasu duzo w glinie robilam ale takich detali to nichuja bo sie lamalo pękało przy utwardzaniu i dupa

Miałam ci odpisać jak mi się przypomni jak te nitki się nazywają, ale się nie przypomniało. To są narzuty z takiej jakby siatki zrobionej z czegoś podobnego do pakuły. Wycinałam odpowiedniej długości kawałki, moczyłam w gipsie i odpowiednio doklejałam. Zwykła glina zawsze pęka gdy wysycha (są chyba jakieś specjalne do wypalania?), to jest gipsowy odlew.

Skończyłam plastyczną w tym roku.

aha, więc nitki były dodane już na wersji odlanej, tak ?(bo właśnie też rozkminiam ze nie da sie odlać tych nitek XD) A moge spytać czy matka była w zwykłej glinie robiona czy w olejnej(plastelinie w sensie)?
Piękne dzieło, niesamowicie ta tekstura nitek podkolorowana, jakby drewno magiczne jakieś :) ^3^
